The 3rd World Congress on Targeting Microbiota was organized by the International Society of Microbiota, at Pasteur Institute, on October 21-23, 2015. At the end of this international congress, the chairman of the organizing committee, Dr Marvin Edeas, concluded: "...Phage therapy will be one of the strategic issue which can control the quality and diversity of human microbiota. We need to study how to use phages to modulate our microbiota in the positive way..."

During the upcoming Targeting Microbiota 2014 which will be held on October 17-19, 2016, a special session will be dedicated to Bacteriophage and Microbiota.
